Within a structured rhythmic progression, the collection covers every rudiment expected of a pupil at the end of the first cycle: flams, three-, five-, seven- and nine-stroke ruffs, roll speeds, and a few filler exercises. A progressive marching drum method book, for the end of the first cycle and the preparatory level.
Written for a single player, it can also be practised by several players in unison.
