Marimba Mallet Signature Jean Geoffroy – 02.5 Soft and Bright
The Signature Jean Geoffroy 02.5 mallets produce a warm, round and rich sound, with full, balanced definition. Warmth naturally dominates, without ever hardening the sound.
Their full, deep and mellow attack encourages great richness of timbre. The projection is full, with a fine presence in the low and middle frequencies. The feel remains dense and deep, with an excellent response and a wide dynamic range that allows particularly expressive nuances to be retained.
The dense head gives the sound a full-bodied tone, depth and foundation, while bringing out the fundamental. This model is particularly suited to repertoire such as J. S. Bach's Cello Suites or the Chaconne.
Available with rattan or wooden handles.
