Marimba Mallets Signature Jean-Luc Rimey-Meille - Rubber
The Signature Jean Luc Rimey Meille Rubber mallets produce an original sound, with a marked "slapping" effect and a very characteristic rubbery colour. The definition remains direct and articulate, with a fine presence in the attack.
Their clean attack is combined with a projection rich in overtones and a responsive, dynamic feel. They maintain excellent precision while bringing a highly recognisable tone colour.
The fairly pronounced weight of the head reinforces the projection, brings extra depth and brings out the fundamental. This model is particularly suited to marimba, bass marimba, the contemporary repertoire, and to the pop and rock worlds.
