The Classic Medium Bright Orange timpani mallets produce a precise, bright and rich sound, with fine versatility and excellent clarity.
Thanks to their balance of brightness, definition and ease of control, they make an excellent first pair for starting timpani. This model is particularly popular with teachers for pupils seeking a versatile mallet with a brighter, more present sound.
Three handles are available to choose from:
- Bamboo: flexible and light to medium in weight, traditionally valued for its comfort, natural rebound and sound development. Livelier under the hand, but also more fragile.
- Maple: rigid, medium in weight and sturdy, particularly suited to study, regular practice and versatile use.
- Aluminium: rigid and highly resistant, particularly recommended for intensive use and outdoor playing.
