The Bass Classic Very Soft Muffled 101 mallets produce a warm, velvety and deep sound, designed specifically for the low register. The fundamental dominates naturally while the attack fades away, giving full rein to the roundness and depth of the sound.
Their very soft attack is combined with a broad, open projection. The feel remains enveloping, mellow and dense, with supple, muffled nuances.
The very heavy head is specifically designed for the bass marimba: it delivers maximum projection and strongly brings out the fundamental in the low register. This model is particularly suited to bass marimba and ensemble playing.
Available with rattan or wooden handles.
