Marimba Mallets BASS Signature Percussions Claviers de Lyon - 02 Very Soft - quite heavy
The Signature Percussions Claviers de Lyon BASS 02 mallets produce a round, warm, dark and velvety sound, designed specifically for the low register of the marimba. Brighter than the BASS 01, they retain a soft, balanced definition.
Their soft, progressive and rounded attack encourages fluid, enveloping playing. The projection is broad, open and natural, while the feel remains mellow, dense and deliberately fairly heavy.
The very pronounced weight of the head is specific to the bass marimba: it reinforces the fundamental and brings a full, deep projection in the low register. This model is particularly suited to bass marimba and ensemble playing.
Available with rattan or wooden handles.
