The Chorale Soft Muffled 02 mallets produce a warm, velvety and round sound, particularly suited to slow and lyrical repertoire and to chorales. Suppleness remains to the fore, while retaining enough contour to preserve the clarity of the playing.
Their progressive attack encourages fluid, expressive playing. The projection is full without excess, while the feel remains enveloping and mellow. Soft to medium-soft dynamics retain fine evenness and great richness of timbre.
The dense head gives the sound a full-bodied tone, depth and foundation, while naturally bringing out the fundamental.
Available with rattan or wooden handles.
