The Signature Hsin Hsuan Wu 06 mallets develop a brilliant, rich, highly defined sound, with a clean articulation that brings out the contact with the wood more strongly.
Their bright, precise, expressive attack offers excellent clarity, while projection is powerful and luminous. The feel remains dynamic and fast, with an immediate response that favours rapid passages, big dynamics and situations where the marimba must retain all its presence.
The dense head brings a full-bodied tone, depth and foundation to the sound, while keeping the fundamental clearly present. This model is particularly suited to concerts in large, resonant halls, to solo concerto parts and to ensemble playing. It is especially suited to works such as Mirage and to the contemporary Japanese repertoire.
