Vibra-Marimba Study Mallets - Medium
The Vibra Marimba Study Medium VME02 mallets produce a warm, versatile and resonant sound, with a fine balance between warmth, clarity and suppleness of playing. They are particularly well suited to learning the vibraphone, while also being usable on marimba.
Their supple, progressive and versatile attack favours fluid, natural playing. The projection is singing and well balanced, while the feel remains pleasant, light and easy to control. Their wide dynamic range allows natural transitions between the different dynamics.
The light head offers fine velocity, particularly appreciable in the upper registers. The VME02 is the most popular model in the Study range for young pupils, notably among teachers, thanks to its versatility and its easy grip. The yarn, renowned for its durability and acoustic qualities, helps maintain a consistent, long-lasting sound.
Available with a choice of wooden or composite handle. Wood offers a firm hold and direct transmission; the flexible composite comes close to the feel of rattan and remains stable whatever the humidity conditions.
