Préparation au déchiffrage | LEFEBVRE D.
Préparation au déchiffrage, by David Lefebvre: sight-reading for marching drum.
Sight-reading — that most dreaded of exercises in an assessment or a competition. Yet it is a rewarding one, which anyone can practise to suit their own level and inclination. Working on sight-reading will improve your reading, your observation and your interpretation. One hundred reading exercises to get used to sight-reading and to work on tempo, dynamics and the application of technical points. Progressive difficulty, from beginner to the end of the third cycle. It will also help you adapt more quickly and feel more at ease when playing with others.
Designed for one player, it also lends itself to unison playing, in class as in recital.
