The Classic Very Hard 112 mallets produce a clear, bright and very incisive sound, with an extremely precise definition. They are particularly suited to the extreme upper register of the marimba and to situations where maximum crispness and clarity are required.
Their clean, incisive attack gives an immediate response, with a balanced projection and a deliberate touch of aggression. The feel remains light, pleasant and easy to control, even in fast, highly articulated passages.
The lightness of the head encourages fluent, dynamic playing that is particularly at ease in the upper register. This model is very well suited to fast and contemporary repertoires, as well as to ensemble and orchestral playing.
Available with rattan or wooden handles.
