Timpani Mallets special Carter - CANARIES

These timpani mallets were specially developed for the repertoire of Elliott Carter, and in particular for performing "Canaries". They offer a rich, precise sound, suited to the technical demands and the many variations in articulation of this writing.
The elongated medium hard head encourages a well-defined attack while retaining a full-bodied tone and richness of sound. It delivers a precise, controlled response in the most demanding passages.
The maple handle, rigid, medium in weight and particularly sturdy, gives a more direct, stable feel under the hand. It encourages precision of gesture and a clean transmission of the attack.
