Vibraphone Mallets Classic - Soft - 02
The Classic Soft 02 mallets produce a warm, round and singing sound, ideal for musicians seeking softness, suppleness and richness of tone. The definition remains balanced, with a dominant warmth that always preserves the roundness of the sound.
Their round, clean and progressive attack favours fluid, natural playing. The projection is soft yet sustained, while the feel remains pleasant and responsive. Transitions between dynamics are very natural, accompanied by a beautiful resonance. Their versatility also allows them to be used on marimba.
The density of the head brings depth, foundation and presence to the fundamental, while retaining a supple, musical character. The yarn, renowned for its durability and acoustic qualities, helps maintain a consistent sound over time.
Available with rattan or wooden handles. For vibraphone we recommend rattan: more flexible and more comfortable, it also allows the instrument's sound to develop more fully, without the colouration or vibrations characteristic of wooden handles.
