Resta-Jay Photo Contest 2020

Resta-Jay Percussions (SARL) organize a photography competition, in partnership with Gregory Picout and Claudia Hansen, photographers. The participation is entirely free.

Submission of pictures: from June 6th to September 1st 2020.

The final closing deadline is September 1st 2020 at 23:59 UTC.

Contestants may submit up to 5 pictures on the theme of their choice, provided that at least one Resta-Jay mallet is displayed in each picture.

The competition is free and open to all amateur photographers, except members of the jury.

Contestants have to be owners of the rights related to the photos and have obtained permission of the people that appears on the photos.

Each entrant can send up to 5 photos.

The photos will be sent in attachment by e-mail to accueil@resta-percussions.fr with the following requirements :

• file format : JPEG (.JPG)
• 5Mo max. per picture.
• File name: PHOTO-CONTEST-NAME-FIRSTNAME.JPG
• or if you submit several pictures:

  PHOTO-CONTEST-NAME-FIRSTNAME-2.JPG
• Dimensions : 2:3 or 1:1 size ratio with a maximum of 3000 pixels on their largest side.
  
  The photos that do not respect those points will not be selected.

The photos will be elected on their artistic value by the members of the jury. The composition, the inner qualities of the photo (light...), the choice of the subject will be taken into account.

• 1st prize : 3 sets of mallets of your choice among the current mallet collections and a visit of the workshop.
  
  
• 2nd prize : 2 sets of mallets of your choice among the current mallet collections.
  
  
• 3rd prize : 1 set of mallets of your choice among the current mallet collections.
  
  
• Special Prize of the Resta-Jay team : 1 set of custom mallets
  
  

The prizes cannot be exchanged against  money or other prizes.

Participant accept to give copyright of all submitted images.
Rewarded photos will be published on the Resta-Jay Percussions Website.
Participant photos will be published on Facebook and Instagram Resta-Jay pages. They also can be printed and exhibited on the Resta-Jay workshop and on the PercuSpace, and during events organized by Resta-Jay Percussions. The name of the author of the picture will be specified in all cases.

The winners will be notified by e-mail, and the results of the competition will be published on the Resta-Jay website, FB and Instagram official pages.

The winners can retrieve their prize at the Resta-Jay Percussions workshop or ask for a postal expedition.

The competition organizers reserve the right to exclude photos of a pornographic, pedophile, racist, discriminating nature, or other nature that is disapproved by the law.
Participant cannot contest the organizers decisions.

The participant declares that he owns the rights to the images he sent. The participant declares that he obtained the authorizations to diffuse the photographs he sent.

Organizers cannot be held responsible for any problem relative to the competition, in case of mistake due to human, computer cause or any other type of cause.
In case of force majeure, Resta-Jay Percussions reserve the right to change these Competition Rules, to postpone or annul the competition. Its responsibilities can not be engaged due to those changes.

The participation to the competition entails the acceptation of those Competition Rules by the entrants.
In case of failure to respect those rules, the participation will be canceled.

All personnal data transmitted by the participant is used exclusively by the company RESTA-JAY Percussions who commits to not disclose, share or trade it.
