Organizer: SARL Resta-Jay Percussions - 428 route de Verchizeuil 71960 Verzé (FRANCE)
The "Young Talents 2020" program aims to make young percussionists involved through videos posted on Resta-Jay’s YouTube channel and social networks.
Launched in April 2020, in the midst of the COVID-19 crisis, its objective is to give visibility to young talents and to share musical moments through the web.
This program is open to all percussionists aged 26 and under. All nationalities are welcome.
Submitted videos will go through a validation process. After validation by the Resta-Jay team, a layout containing the program logo, name of the piece and composer, and full name of the performer will be added to the video before sharing it on our social networks.
The program will be running until the end of 2020.
This program is open to all percussionists or drummers born after December 31, 1994.
No matter your level, you just have to make a video of a correct quality, even via a smartphone.
Please check that sound quality is also correct in order to be able to broadcast via the internet.
This program is open to all nationalities.
Videos displaying several musicians are welcome too, with at least one percussionist, drummer or military drum playing Resta-Jay mallets.
In this moment of international health crisis, inducing cancellation of numerous musical events and music lessons throughout the world, Resta-Jay keeps committed to support musical initiatives and to create motivation among the youngest artists.
To keep the link between musicians and music lovers, Resta-Jay offers to take advantage of its customers and friends network to continue playing and bringing music to life all together.
Once finished, take care to check the audio and visual quality of the video and then send it to firstname.lastname@example.org using a large file sharing system.
Your file will have the following name:
Using a camera or a smartphone, film yourself performing a piece of your choice (8 min max.).
All percussion instruments are welcome: Xylophone, Marimba, Vibraphone, Timpani, Drums, Snare drum, Drums, Steel-drum...
The submitted videos will go through a validation process and the most successful ones will be published on the Resta-Jay’s YouTube channel, Facebook and Instagram pages.
