This method is intended for the first years of playing the game with four sticks. It is presented in four parts, each of progressive and complementary level and difficulty.
Each of them contains exercises, some of which are based on basic concepts while others use more complex concepts essential to learning the game of four sticks. They gradually acquire the means necessary to become independent.
The pieces offered respond to graded levels of difficulty and will introduce the student to a wide range of music and styles in order to develop his ear, his technique, his sound, his sense of phrasing as well as his musical personality.
It is voluntarily that no indication is given of holding the sticks (grip), thus leaving the free choice to the pupil and the teacher according to the wishes and preferences of each.
The fingerings indicated in this method are usual.
Finally, most of the pieces can be played independently on marimba or vibraphone. However, some being indicated more for one than for the other, these specificities are mentioned in the method when it is important
